This delicious dish with pineapple and red pepper relish is bound to tickle those taste buds!
Serves: 4-6

Cooking time: 5-6 minutes
Ingredients
4-6 100g tuna steaks (1 per person, frozen defrosted is fine and cheaper by far)
1/4 tsp chilli powder
Juice 2 large limes
2 tbsp mint chopped very finely
For the salsa
1 medium fresh pineapple, skinned, cored and chopped finely
2 tbsp fresh mint chopped
2 tbsp fresh coriander chopped
2 cloves garlic, finely crushed
½ tsp chilli powder
Juice and zest 3 large limes
1 small bunch spring onions, finely chopped
1/2 red pepper, cubed
6-7 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
½ tbsp smoked paprika

Method
1. Place the chilli powder, lime juice and fresh mint into a bowl, mix really well, then add the patted dry tuna steaks and coat well in the mixture.
2. Leave for 15 to 20 minutes.
3. Mix all the ingredients together for the salsa and really mix well, add salt, pepper and a little sugar to taste.
4. Heat the frying pan to a high heat add 2 tbsp oil.
5. Lightly oil a small piece of kitchen towel.
6. Carefully place the tuna steaks into the pan and sear really well for two to three minutes, then flip over, cook for one to two minutes on the other side, then remove.
7. Serve straight away with the salsa on the side.
